Last week, members of the media were invited to take a ride on a new Zipline in Tulsa. Postoak Lodge and Resort recently added the Zipline Canopy Tour to their location in the northeast part of town.
To get video and stills from the zipline ride, I used three cameras, although I took four with me. One of my cameras spent most of the afternoon in Marty Duane's backpack. There were only so many cameras and harness equipment I could wear and still ride the zipline safely.
I attached a small GoPro camera to writer Molly Bullock's helmet, and one to my helmet. Then I used a Canon 5d Mark II to alternate between stills and video of the tour.
Our Guide for the tour, Ben West, says that he enjoys helping people get out of their comfort zone and making memories during the Zipline ride. My favorite part of the morning was stepping backwards off of the second tower.
