They call it the Super Bowl of bass fishing; the Bassmaster Classic. I agree, but it would be more like the Super Bowl if the Super Bowl lasted 3 days from 5 a.m. until 8 p.m. every day. And, if the Super Bowl was played on a 100 mile field instead of a 100 yard field.
For the last three days, I have chased anglers around the lake in a bass boat traveling 60 to 70 miles an hour, and I have loved every minute of it. Sure, I have Googled the signs of frostbite and hypothermia several times, but I have had a blast, and look forward to the final day tomorrow. Here are some of my favorite photos from the first two days, and a time lapse video of the day one launch.
