TULSA TO DO
All but one of this week's picks for things to do in Tulsa are free. And, that one exception? It's just $7 for an Irish dinner. ...
You're not going to run out of things to do this weekend. It will be easy to keep yourself, and the kids, busy with happenings ...
A friend told me he had thought more about Woody Guthrie in the last few days than he had his whole life.
It's no wonder. ...
If you like beer, you don't want to miss First Draft.
This beer-tasting event takes place Friday on the Refinery Deck of ONEOK Field – a cool place for a fun evening.
When First Draft began seven years ago, it featured some local breweries and a couple of unique brews. Now in its seventh year, it includes a serious lineup of beers you won't find just anywhere.
More than 75 beers will be part of the event. Look for beer by local breweries Marshall's, Choc, COOP Ale Works, Mustang Brewing Co. and Tall Grass.
The organizers of First Draft, which benefits the Tulsa Press Club, are serious about their beer, choosing only top-rated beers by Beer Advocate.
5 drinks and eats not to miss at First Draft:1. Sam Adams Black and Brew Coffee Stout
2. Marshall's El Cucuy, an India-style black ale served from a brass tap
3. Bratwurst, because what could go better with a good beer
4. Whiskey-aged Porter
5. Belgian chocolates made with beer
