I don't know much about the U.S. Navy Sea Chanters, but I know they can sing the national anthem for me anytime.

They performed at the end of President Obama's inauguration and sang the song perfectly: in tune, at a tempo that could be joined, and without needless ornamentation.

Their Web site (www.tulsaworld.com/seachanter) tells me that they are the official chorus of the United States Navy and that they performed at the 2005 inauguration of George W. Bush also.

Was anyone from the NFL or the NCAA watching?

That's what Americans want from "The Star-Spangled Banner."
