For those who believe beer goes better with everything, here comes beer and opera.
Tulsa Opera and McNellie's Pub have scheduled an "Ale and Arias" event at 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
It will be held at McNellie's Sidebar, the side room to McNellie's Pub, 409 E. First St.
McNellie's will provide a sampling of beers from five to six regions around the world, and a Tulsa Opera studio artist and accompanist will perform arias from those same regions.
The event is expected to last 45 minutes to an hour. Cost is $5 at the door.
