We watched this episode Monday because Pop's in Arcadia was teased to be on. It wasn't except for a group photo which briefly showed the giant pop bottle in the background. Funny that Arcadia was mentioned on the show ("...leaving Arcadia blah blah...")but there were no identified sites like Pop's or the round barn. It's too bad that neither Tulsa or Bixby were even mentioned. Of course, Applebee's got good coverage so I imagine the show's producers "sold" spots like that. They also stopped at the Big Texan steak house in Amarillo so it got some coverage. Great American Road Trip is supposed to be a Route 66 road trip but you sure can't tell by watching the show. They spent more time showing Kansas, which has only a tiny portion of 66. We never watch reality shows but suckered into a couple episodes of this one only because of the Route 66 tie-in and its many familiar landmarks.
