The Tulsa Performing Arts Center Trust has received one of the largest grants ever given to a Tulsa performing arts group by the National Endowment for the Arts, to support “Oklahoma Landscapes,” a project that will showcase the state’s performing, visual and literary arts.

“Oklahoma Landscapes” will be a collaborative effort involving the PAC Trust, Gilcrease Museum and the Oklahoma Center for Poets and Writers, and will center around the Trust’s presentation in January 2010 of the national Broadway touring production of “August: Osage County,” the Pulitzer Prize-winning play by Tulsa native Tracy Letts.

Officials with the PAC Trust, Gilcrease and the OCPW made the announcement about the $40,000 NEA grant at a press conference Thursday.
