BUY NOW: Special ticket packages now available for Seal + Macy Gray concert

For a limited time, the Brady Theater is offering specially-priced two- and four-packs of tickets for the Aug. 1 concert with Seal and Macy Gray.

The password-protected sale is "in support of downtown Tulsa," said promoters.

Two tickets are $60, four are $100, including all fees.

Seal has sold more than 20 million albums worldwide since his 1989 debut. He's also won four Grammy awards. His hits include "Kiss from a Rose," "Crazy," "Fly Like an Eagle" and "Don't Cry." His latest studio album, "Soul 2," was released Jan. 12 and captures his interpretation of '70s-era soul. It's the follow-up to the 2008 album, "Soul," which had him singing '60s-era soul classics.

Gray is a Grammy-winning soul, R&B and jazz singer noted for her distinctive, raspy vocals and singing style that's often compared to Billie Holiday and Betty Davis.

Her sixth album, "Covered," was released March 26 and features her performing her favorite songs, including the Eurythmics' "Here Comes The Rain Again."

Barrelhouse Beat

Barrelhouse: A colloquialism describing the low saloons at the turn of the century (19th) that served whiskey straight out of the barrel. It's also a reference to the type of music played in those venues. Ex: Barrelhouse music.

Beat: The time or timing. Ex: The band played with a solid beat. Also used as a term describing a reporters specific area of expertise. Ex: The music beat.
