This one still is down the road a few weeks, but beer and beef fans might want to plan ahead for the first Beer and Beefsteak Banquet, scheduled at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 12 at Fassler Hall, 304 S. Elgin Ave.
"I recently read a great article by Paul Lukas (New York Times) about the rebirth of an old New York tradition, beefsteak banquets, and thought why not bring back a little bit of old, traditional New York to Tulsa," Fassler owner Elliot Nelson said in a news release.
Diners at the banquet will be served an all-you-can-eat beef tenderloin dinner with sides, and the price includes the food, beer and a commemorative apron.
Cost is $50 per person, or $45 per person for groups of four or more. Guests must be 21 years old or above, and reservations are required. Send reservation requests to brian@fasslerhall.com.
