Beyonce Loses Baby Weight Wasabi-Style

Beyonce knocks 50 pounds of her post-pregnancy body with a sparse diet and heavy workouts.

It’s never good to base a diet on something a celebrity allegedly does.

But reading about how Beyonce bounced 50 pounds off her post-pregnancy frame cannot be healthy for any recovering mom.

An article posted on the Hollywood Life entertainment site, explains how the pop star basically starved herself to accomplish this feat.

All new moms worry about how to get back into their skinnier clothes, but Beyonce’s daily food intake looks more like a ballerina in training than breastfeeding mother.

And can you imagine a baby breastfed off wasabi and cayenne pepper-spiced cucumbers? Eek!

Sadly, the magazine seems to praise her for making it down to this size so quickly, saying it’s all about diet and exercise.

True, but the writer doesn’t acknowledge the stress most mothers experience right after a birth, both in biology and in adjusting to the change in the daily routine.

Not to make excuses, but celebrities aren’t like the rest of us.

They have the luxury of time and disposable income for things like trainers to conduct those regular 90-minute workouts.

Most hire nannies to help out with the feedings every two hours or so and keep the household clean and running smoothly.

So, if you are still carrying around a little extra weight, don’t get discouraged. Work of the weight the right way at your own pace and focus on important things - like sleep.

I have been so worried about the amount of milk I'm producing lately that I considered getting up in the middle of the night to get in an extra pumping.

    I slept instead. I'm such a bad mother. :(
Sleep is more important than even cleaning house when you're a new mom. At least, I convinced myself of that in my sleep-deprived state.
