Biga and Local Table, located on opposite ends of a strip center at 4309 S. Peoria Ave., have added special wine dinners Monday and Wednesday.
The Biga dinner at 6:30 p.m. Monday will feature wines from Kermit Lynch, winemaker and importer of French wines. Cost is $45, plus tax and gratuity. Reservations: 918-743-2442.
Dishes for the five-course dinner will include brandade gratin on crostini, salad, chicken cassoulet, duck l'orange and creme brulee.
Wines will include Domaine du Salvard sauvignon blanc, Domaine Perrusset chardonnay, Domaine D'Aupilhac "Lou Maset" (grenache-based blend) and Kermit Lynch "Cypress" (syrah-grenache blend).
Kent Grindinger from Echelon, a California winery, will host a dinner at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Local Table. Cost is $25, plus tax and gratuity. Reservations: 918-794-8013.
Dishes will include shrimp in coconut milk, creamy baked orzo with goat cheese, Thai chicken-zucchini-tomato curry and red velvet cake.
Wines will include Echelon pinot grigio, pinot noir and a red blend.
