Tulsa's Bill Hader talked Mick Jagger, the season finale of "Saturday Night Live" and his Dad's perm on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" over the weekend.

At the "SNL" afterparty, the Foo Fighters played and Mick Jagger, who was the season finale host, joined in, he told Fallon.

"Mick Jagger went up and played with them. He sang live karaoke," said Hader, a graduate of Cascia Hall who made his "SNL" debut in 2005.

"Suddenly the song 'Bitch' came on and we were like 'Oh. That's Mick Jagger singing. Oh my God.'"

The Tulsa native also talked about the emotion-filled sendoff for cast members and "Bridesmaid" star Kristen Wiig.

"That was pretty rough," Hader said. "We were doing a sketch before the last one and suddenly it hits you: 'This is our last sketch together.' It’s really weird."

He also talked about growing up and how his family members were big fans of the too cool 1980s television series "Miami Vice," starring Don Johnson.

"One day we were watching 'Miami Vice' and my mom was like 'Wow, Don Johnson is very good looking' and this really affected my Dad," said the actor/comic who has co-starred in the films "Superbad," "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs," "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" and "Tropic Thunder."

"His reaction was to get a perm… Nobody on the show had a perm. We thought he'd get the white suit or something, but no. We didn't see it until we were getting in the car to go on a summer trip to go from Oklahoma to Miami.

"My Dad looked like a giant little Orphan Annie in a Hawaiian shirt. My sisters and I were like, 'No Dad, no.' And he's like, 'Like Don Johnson, right?’ and we're like, no, not at all like Don Johnson."

Hader stars as Andy Warhol in "Men in Black II" now in theaters.

And, he’s returning for the third time as host of "TCM Essentials Jr. Summer Showcase" on cable 210.

The showcase kicks off with the 1957 classic "12 Angry Men," starring Oscar winner Henry Fonda and directed by Sidney Lumet, at 7 p.m. Sunday.
The June films include "The Wizard of Oz" (1939). "Rio Bravo" (1959) and "The Circus" (1928).

In July, he will present the films "Lassie Come Home" (1943), "The Bank Dick" (1940), "The Thief of Bagdad" (1940), "The Great Escape" (1963) and "The Bandwagon" (1953).

In August, he will showcase the films "The Invisible Man" (1933), "42nd Street" (1933), "North By Northwest" (1959) and "Ball of Fire" (1941).

Rita Sherrow grew up with TV. Yes, it was the ever-present “sister” from another techno mother. At first look, it was instant "Like." From then on, the TV had to be on in every room while she studied, elementary school through college. An Air Force brat, she attended school in three states (Oklahoma, Montana and Georgia) and two foreign countries (Germany and Bermuda) and graduated from Broken Arrow High School and the University of Tulsa with a degree in journalism/advertising. She first interned in the advertising world but, when a J-School professor (who also covered politics for the Tulsa World) offered her an internship at the newspaper, she took him up on it. The rest is history. She has served as bridal editor, senior features writer for the women’s section, food editor and is television editor of the Tulsa World. In addition to writing about TV shows and interviewing the stars for “Scene” stories, she also writes a TV column for Weekend and produces the Sunday TV World listings magazine.
