Christina Aguilera and
Blake Shelton are madly flirting ... with the idea of a duet.
This week, Aguilera performed a portion of the Okie country star's hit tune "
Hillbilly Bone."
Following the show, Shelton tweeted, "That. Just. Happened!!!!! @TheRealXtina I'm speechless....."
She Tweeted in return: "@blakeshelton Now we need to team up for a country duet Blake!! I'm down!! Let's go!"
First Coast News caught up with Shelton and asked him about the possibility.
“Well you know it’s an understatement to say that I’m open to singing a duet with Christina Aguilera. More like I would pay her, I would beg her, I’ll wash her car, I’ll clean her house, I’ll babysit her kid. ... I’ll do whatever I need to do to get that done,” he responded.
Aguilera's also notably performed with other judges from "The Voice," including
Adam Levine. She's also announced an upcoming project with
Cee Lo Green.
