Oklahoma's country music superstar Blake Shelton will be a guest on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" at 10:35 p.m. Monday on NBC, channel 2, cable 9.
Shelton, who lives on a ranch near Tishomingo with his wife Miranda Lambert, is a musician coach on the second season of NBC's hit reality singing competition "The Voice." The multi-award-winning artist, along with Lambert and Taylor Swift, led the winners of the recent Academy of Country Music Awards. Shelton was named top male vocalist, Lambert was chosen as best female vocalist and Swift took the top prize as Entertainer of the Year.
"The Voice" live quarterfinals continue at 7 p.m. Monday with an instant elimination of one singer from Adam Levine's team and one from Cee Lo Green's team. On Tuesday, viewers' votes will be announced and the coaches Shelton, Christina Aguilera, Green and Levine will have to decide who they will save and who will be eliminated from the competition.
"The Voice" airs 7-9 p.m. Mondays with elimination rounds airing 8-9 p.m. Tuesdays on NBC, channel 2,cable 9.
The season finale is set to air May 8 when one singer will be named "The Voice."
