Two Oklahoma music superstars are sticking together when it comes to TV.
Blake Shelton, who lives on a ranch near Tishomingo, will team up with Oklahoma native Reba McEntire in an upcoming episode of her ABC situation comedy, according to huffingtonpost.com.
On "Malibu Country," airing March 1 on channel 8, "The Voice" coach and award-winning country artist Shelton will play Reba's brother.
McEntire had told ETonline last October that she wanted Shelton to make a guest appearance on the show.
"I've already talked to Blake (Shelton) and Kelly (Clarkson), and they said ... that they would appear, so we just got to get the script right when we need 'em in here," she told the entertainment website then.
"It's got to be honest. Everything about this show's got to be honest."
In the series, McEntire plays country singer Reba Gallagher who's trying to restart her music career in California following a divorce.
Last season she appeared on "The Voice" as a coach for Team Blake, and the two friends have previously co-hosted the Academy of Country Music Awards. She was also a guest performer on "Blake Shelton's Not So Family Christmas" special, which aired in December on NBC.
There's also a sort of family connection between the two country music stars.
McEntire's stepson, Brandon Blackstock, who is engaged to "American Idol" winner Clarkson, is Shelton's day-to-day manager. No word yet if Clarkson will make an appearance on the show.
