Miss Jackson's at Utica Square will host its annual Fall Opening extravaganza July 29-30.
Miss Jackson’s at Utica Square is prepping for its annual Fall Opening bash July 29-30, with a spate of trunk shows and special events.
Among those are beauty services, for which the store is taking appointments now, as they tend to fill pretty quickly.
The beauty event will happen 10 a.m.-6 p.m. both days, and all are by appointment only, said the store's Rachel Kern.
Color and spa appointments are complimentary, and shoppers will find gifts with purchases from all event vendors, she said – vendors like Trish McEvoy, Darphin, Phyto, Priori and Natura Bisse. You’ll also find gifts with purchases for Erno Laszlo and La Prairie skincare. Spend $100 anywhere in skin and beauty, and you get a free Miss Jackson's makeup bag.
Here's a round-up of what to expect:
Darphin
. An aesthetician will be administering facials in one of our private spa rooms with products from this incredible line; it offers both a luxurious experience and a precise and gentle treatment for a multitude of skin types.
Priori
. An expert will be available for chemical peel sessions and skincare advice based on your skin type and needs.
Phyto
. This is the most comprehensive hair diagnostic available: representatives from the industry’s first and most respected botanical hair care line will be using their magnification technology to analyze customers’ hair and scalp on a microscopic level, then recommend the Phyto products that will meet their specific needs.
Natura Bisse
. This pioneering line strives to provide highly efficient ingredients in the maximum concentrations. Aestheticians will be administering facials in one of our private spa rooms, and showing customers how to choose the right products from the line and harness their power.
Trish McEvoy
. It wouldn’t be fall opening without a huge Trish McEvoy color event, and this year we’ve invited four of Trish’s artists to the store, all specially trained to show us the best new techniques and colors for the coming fall.
For more, including booking your appointment, call Miss Jackson’s, 918-747-8671.
Peace, love and beauty … XOXO

Living Wright
While other kids were watching "The Smurfs," Scene Writer Jason Ashley Wright was tuned in to "Style with Elsa Klensch." By fourth grade, he knew he wanted to write, and spent almost three years publishing a weekly teen-oriented magazine, Teen-Zine -- circulation: 2. After earning a degree in journalism from the University of Southern Mississippi, he became the medical reporter and teen board coordinator for the Hattiesburg (Miss.) American, a Gannett newspaper. Eight months later, with visions of Elsa dancing in his head, he applied for the fashion writer position at the Tulsa World, where he began working on Aug. 3, 1998. He is now a general assignment reporter for Scene.
