The Joint inside the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa will host the movie premiere of “Revelation Road: The Beginning of the End” with Brian Bosworth, 8 p.m. Saturday.

The screening is free. Visitors must be at least 21 years old. Doors open 7 p.m. at 777 W. Cherokee St., Catoosa. A meet-and-greet runs 5:30-7 p.m. Friday in the front lobby of The Joint, 777 W. Cherokee St., Catoosa.

Josh McManus (David A.R. White) is traveling salesman who finds himself up against an attempted robbery, a biker gang and its leader, Hawg (Bosworth) in a fight for what may be McManus’ soul. He wonders if the rapture is upon him.

Bosworth has spent this week traipsing the Sooner state to promote the film, including Norman, Enid, Ada, El Reno, Oklahoma City, Elk City and McAlester. There also will me a meet-and-greet at the event. He also will discuss the film and his personal journeys.

Nicknamed “The Boz” during his days as a college football player at the University of Oklahoma, he became known as a boisterous, big-talking risk-taker on and off the field. He was named as a two-time consensus All-American athlete and is the only footballer to win two Butkus Awards as the nation’s top college linebacker.

In 1987, he went on to become one of the highest-paid rookie draft picks for the NFL’s Seattle Seahawks. He retired in 1989 after a shoulder injury ended his pro career.

He has since worked as a sports commentator, and movie and television actor.
