Still scratching for Valentine plans, headed downtown to see The Who, or just want a great way to start the evening? Bring your honey to McNellie’s Pub, 409 E. First St., after 5 p.m. for a pint of Stella brown ale from Tulsa's Marshall Brewing Co.
Stella is a cask-conditioned, English-style brown ale with New Zealand Stella hops. It has hoppy and floral notes, with subtle hints of anise and a satisfying fullness of palate, according to a release by Marshall.
According to Marshall, Stella is “reminiscent of, yet distinctly different, in character to noble European varieties and provides a contrast to the citrus and tropical fruit characters of many modern hops.”
Stella has very limited availability.
