It's Britney, b****.
I had been missing my Neiman Marcus holiday catalog this season, but I kinda feel like I flipped through one after just watching Britney's new video, "Scream and Shout," with will.i.am.
Actually, it's more like will.i.am's new video with Britney, but whatever. In case you haven't seen it, Britney affects an off-kilter British accent and repeats herself a lot, while will.i.am gets more voice time -- and kinda repeats himself throughout the song, too.
Then there are all the cool products that explode or twirl around or hang from will.i.am's neck -- my favorite being the Burberry plaid camera. Where can I get one of those?
Still, I have a special place in my heart for Britney because we're practically neighbors (she's from Kentwood, La., I'm from south Mississippi -- we're probably cousins or something). Plus, she's danceable, and I love to dance. Not in public, thank you, but at home. Or, best yet, huffing and puffing on the elliptical machine.
So, blah, blah, blah, I kinda like this song, although I'm not sure yet about downloading it on iTunes. I'll need to listen to it a few more times ...
