Tickets are disappearing faster than deposits at the blood bank. They are going as quickly as a vampire in the sunlight.

Forget the cliches: Get your tickets to the new "Twilight" movie now.

You can sink your teeth into "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1" next Thursday at the witching hour — or you can fully immerse yourself in all things "Twilight" beginning that afternoon, with four movies playing for more than 10 hours.

Virtually all theaters in the Tulsa area will have midnight showings of "Breaking Dawn," and some screenings have already sold out — including seven midnight showings at Cinemark Tulsa alone.

Now for the good news: Cinemark Tulsa next Thursday will be beaming that signal to all of its 17 theaters — including the giant-screen IMAX, which is sold out. That gives that theater the ability to sell 3,000-plus tickets to the midnight shows alone, a figure it exceeded with the last "“Twilight" film, "Eclipse," in 2010, as well as this summer with "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2."

Those considering the midnight shows might want to purchase tickets as soon as possible; tickets have been selling for multiple other midnight showings of "Part 1" of "Breaking Dawn," based on the final book in author Stephenie Meyer's vampire series.

Another bit of good news: "Breaking Dawn, Part 1" is, at 1 hour, 57 minutes, the first "Twilight" film to clock under two hours.

"Breaking Dawn, Part 2" will be released in November 2012.

Midnight showtimes are also scheduled at AMC Southroads 20, Cinemark Broken Arrow, RiverWalk in Jenks, Showplex Owasso, Eton Square, Starworld 20, Cinemark Sand Springs and Moviestar Cinema in Broken Arrow.

Two theaters — Cinemark Tulsa and Cinemark Broken Arrow — are showing a "Twilight" marathon of movies beginning at 4 p.m. Thursday. For the first time, Cinemark Tulsa has sold out one auditorium for this 10-hour event and begun selling tickets for a second "marathon" auditorium.

The marathon at the two Cinemark theaters begins at 4 p.m. with the first movie, "Twilight." The second and third films in the series, "New Moon" and "Eclipse," follow, and then "Breaking Dawn, Part 1" will play at midnight. Tickets to these marathon events are $20 for the four movies.

AMC Southroads 20 has just begun selling tickets to its IMAX showing of "Breaking Dawn, Part 1," at midnight. There are four theaters: Cinemark Tulsa, Cinemark Broken Arrow, AMC Southroads 20 and Cinemark Sand Springs — which are showing the previous film in the series, "Eclipse," at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
