CBS is officially reviving "Unforgettable" for summer 2013.
The CBS freshman series was canceled in May along with "CSI: Miami," "A Gifted Man," "Rob" and "NYC 22" but a network Tweet Friday announced 13 episodes had been ordered for next summer.
"Hey #Unforgettable fans. It's official, the series will return to #CBS for summer 2013," CBSTweet wrote Friday.
Poppy Montgomery stars in the series as detective who remembers everything, particularly from her sister’s crime scene but not who murdered her. That astounding memory is a skill that is great for her work but horrific for her personal life.
The decision to cancel the 9 p.m. Tuesday series was a surprise to critics and fans since it averaged 12.1 million viewers and earned a 2.5 rating in the advertiser-coveted adults 18-49 demographic.
