I just got the word that the Canebrake, a restaurant and resort four miles east of Wagoner off Oklahoma Highway 51, is staging a crab boil and beer tasting 5:30-7 p.m. Friday (May 21).
In addition to the crab boil, the evening will include soups, salads, appetizers, corn and new potatoes. Beers will be from Dixie, Fuller, Stegmaier and Karmeliet. Cost is $50, all inclusive. To reserve a spot, call 485-1816.
