Oklahoma's Carrie Underwood and Josh Groban will headline "Teachers Rock" August 18 on CBS.
The one-hour musical special honoring America's educators, will be taped August 14 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles and will feature additional performers including country star Dierks Bentley and pop group Fun, according to deadline.com.
The show will also include personal stories about teachers from musicians Dave Grohl, Usher, Adam Levine and James Valentine and actors Meryl Streep, LL Cool J, Viola Davis, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Pauley Perrette, Jennifer Garner, Jack Black, Morgan Freeman, Matthew Morrison and Miranda Cosgrove, among others.
The show is being sponsored by Walmart and Walden Media's new film "Won't Back Down," according to the entertainment website.
