Happy 50th birthday, Paula Abdul.

1. During Season 7 of "American Idol," Abdul declared David Archuleta's rendition of John Lennon's "Imagine," as “ridiculous!" and then added "I wanted to squish you, squeeze your head off and dangle you from my rear-view mirror."
2. On her reality show "Hey Paula," she morphs from glad to furious in an instant, telling her stylist "I work my a-- off!"
3. Paula gets confused and tells "Idol" contestant Jason Castro that his second song performance "lacked your usual charm" but he only sang once. Former Tulsan David Cook, center on stage, looks confused, too. She later clarified she was comparing his performance from the dress rehearsal.
