Hopefully, next week's blog will prompt photos of healthier stuff vs. what I've been showing this week (fingers crossed).

Chicken, stretchin' and lunch with "Charlie's Angels" -- Week 2, Day 5

Still making semi-decent headway in healthy-lifestyle territory, with the promise of a fitness dominatrix on my horizon.

My buddy PB (who needs to pick a new nickname) and I are supposed to meet around dawn's crack Monday morning for stretching and cardio at our new gym. Light a candle for us.

In the mean time, I'll help Youngun take down Christmas decorations, which will surely burn a few calories.

As I'm still on deadline (Friday is my D-Day), let's get the food diary thing over with:

Thursday breakfast was oatmeal with almonds and blueberries; snack was a banana; lunch was a turkey sandwich with steamed veggies; snack was an orange; and dinner was a grilled chicken breast. LESSON: I didn't eat enough at dinner, so I had two chicken tenders and a biscuit around 9 p.m. at Lord V's with E. Still, not absolutely awful. No dessert, so yay!

Friday's breakfast was a quick handful of almonds, plus a banana -- no snack. Lunch was a chicken sandwich and small fries with fellow "Angels" Jill and Sabrina (I'm Kelly, it seems). Therefore, a small spinach salad with a little chicken for dinner is in my immediate future. Makin' amends!

I totally wasn't going to divulge the fries, but I have to fess up, or karma will get me. Fully believe that.

OK, deadline's a-callin'. Hope y'all have a fantastic weekend!

Peace, love and dominatrices ... xoxo

While other kids were watching "The Smurfs," Scene Writer Jason Ashley Wright was tuned in to "Style with Elsa Klensch." By fourth grade, he knew he wanted to write, and spent almost three years publishing a weekly teen-oriented magazine, Teen-Zine -- circulation: 2. After earning a degree in journalism from the University of Southern Mississippi, he became the medical reporter and teen board coordinator for the Hattiesburg (Miss.) American, a Gannett newspaper. Eight months later, with visions of Elsa dancing in his head, he applied for the fashion writer position at the Tulsa World, where he began working on Aug. 3, 1998. He is now a general assignment reporter for Scene.
