8 cups milk
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup chocolate malt powder
4 ounces bittersweet chocolate , finely chopped
1. In saucepan, bring milk with sugar just to boil over medium-high heat, stirring often.
2. Remove from heat.
3. Whisk in malt powder and chopped chocolate until smooth.
Options: top with whipped cream and chopped malted milk balls.
Make-ahead: Let cool. Refrigerate in airtight container for up to 2 days; reheat.
