Those of you who read the World's Sunday book pages -- Hi, Mom! Hello, darling wife! -- may have seen the review on "Corduroy Mansions," the first volume in Alexander McCall Smith's current serial novel.
A second volume, "The Dog Who Came in From the Cold," is due to published in the States early next year.
But, if you want to read the story the way it was intended -- an episode a day for 100 or so days -- then know that "A Conspiracy of Friends" will begin publication on the website of the London Telegraph starting Monday, Sept. 13.
Installments will appear regularly through Dec. 18, 2010.
One can reading the installments on line at the Telegraph website, have each installment sent to you via email, or download a daily podcast, read by Andrew Sachs, the actor best known as Manuel in the classic TV comedy "Fawlty Towers."
