I can't get the Beastie Boys' "Sabotage" out of my head.
Having gone to my Dubya Dubya meeting today (about 6 pounds down, woohoo!), it seems a smidgen self-destructive that, in less than two hours, I'll be trying close to a dozen things at the fair -- hence the Beastie Boys.
Granted, I'm going with food writer Nicole Marshall Middleton, and we'll only be taking a small bite or two each of foods -- mostly the new ones, like the deep-fried Girl Scout Thin Mint cookies, deep-fried Nutter Butters and, perhaps, the chocolate-covered corndog. I'm actually excited about the armadillo egg, which is a stuffed and fried jalapeno dipped in chocolate. Mmm ... Sweet, delicious sabotage.
But what's YOUR favorite fair fare? And what's the WORST thing you've ever had there?
Peace, love and armadillos ... XOXO
