Cross Canadian Ragweed

Get ready! The country music festival in Pryor each year has changed formats — sort of.

The Tulsa World learned this week that Reasor’s Country Fever will go all red dirt and Texas country(!!!), highlighting genres of alt-country from the region's most successful acts, including Cross Canadian Ragweed, Stoney LaRue, Eli Young Band, Robert Earl Keen, the Red Dirt Rangers, Billy Joe Shaver and more. The event will be June 18-21 at the Catch the Fever Festival Grounds, four miles north of Pryor, Oklahoma off Highway 69. (It's gonna be a heeee-uge party.)

It also will be hosted by Great American Country’s Storme Warren (from Tulsa), and will feature the largest collection of red dirt and Texas country music, with some 40 bands with roots in Oklahoma, Texas, Missouri, Arkansas and Kansas.

One-day and 4-day general admission passes and VIP (includes reserved seating) passes are available at "Christmas Stocking Stuffer" discounted prices.

Also, check the site for audio interviews with members of Cross Canadian Ragweed and the Red Dirt Rangers.

More artists are expected to be announced soon. Watch Saturday's Tulsa World Scene section and the Tulsa World Web site!

Also, call toll-free for complete information (866) 310-2288.
