Coweta's Catherine "Katie" Boydston has been named one of five finalists in the Game Show Network's "Dance of a Lifetime" contest.
She was among those who submitted videos of their dance moves to the cable channel for the contest which is being held in conjunction with GSN's rebroadcasts of ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" competitive reality TV show.
Fans then voted on their favorites and the winner will be announced during the season 12 finale at 5 p.m. Saturday on GSN, cable 171.
The Grand Prize winner will receive a round trip airline tickets for two to Hollywood, three nights hotel stay plus meals and a full makeover, including wardrobe provided by Emmy Award-winning costume designer Randall Christensen, who worked on the ABC series for 11 seasons. The winner will also receive a private dance lesson from a professional dance instructor alongside former "DWTS" contestant and "Extra" host Mario Lopez.
