Season 7 "American Idol" winner and former Tulsan David Cook has recorded the farewell song for the 10th season of "American Idol."

Don’t You (Forget About Me)” was chosen by Simon Fuller, "American Idol" creator and executive producer. It's a remake of the Simple Minds' 1985 smash hit and will air each week as contestants are eliminated.

Fans who preorder Cook's upcoming second album will get the track for free at DavidCookOfficial.com. Starting March 8, it also also be for sale on iTunes and via other digital retailers.
