Dooley’s Angus Inn, a fixture in downtown Broken Arrow for almost 12 years at 201 S. Main St., has been purchased and will be renamed Timberline.

“My wife and I bought it recently, and we currently have it closed while we do some remodeling,” owner Steve Ruhl said. “I hope to have Timberline open in a few weeks.”

Ruhl said the menu will be similar to the Angus Inn’s, heavy on steaks and American grill items.

The restaurant is located on the corner of Main and Commercial streets in space that once held Petrik Drug Store.

Hmmm... was wondering if Mr. Dooley was itching to get out of the business. This place has so much potential... location, atmosphere, nostalgia factor never tapped. A lot of lunch potential if the food is good and the price is right. I wish good things for this place...
