Tomorrow (Tuesday, Oct. 28) is the last day of the season for the Downtown Tulsa Farmers Market.
It's also quite possibly the last day of the year you will be able to buy homegrown tomatoes.
Market manager Donna Vogelpohl says the plants are getting limp from the cold, but the strong ones are producing the last of their fruit, including tomatoes.
Vendors will have green and ripe tomatoes, onions, peppers and lettuce.
The market is at the Williams Green at Third Street and Boston Avenue. It's open from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday.
