Duke's Southern Kitchen, 10441 S. Regal Blvd., Bixby, has closed.

The restaurant, located in the SpiritBank Event Center, had two owners over its almost two years of business.

The space formerly held the Clubhouse, which also had multiple owners before it closed.

The entire spirit center is jinxed by the original builders. I continue to wonder how nobody went to jail with all of the fraudulent activities that went on there.

What's so special about this place it's closing made the news? I've never even heard of the place I rarely go to that part of anyways.

Remember all the folks saying, the only way the BOK Center would attract any businesses would be if it were built in the burbs? Looks like most of the businesses area around the Spirit Center are just barley hanging on.

If they had something worth going there for, it would do better. You can't compare the BOK venue with Spirit Center.

Why not?

Capacities of the two venues are drastically different, which means they will attract different artists. Spirit = 4,500 people, BOK = 19,100.

In all honesty I had no idea it was still open. I think there's opportunity there, it just has to be he right deal.

I am surprised it lasted this long, food was over priced

We ate there once,I thought it was a little overpriced also, and the food wasnt anything to write home about. We live only a mile from there,I think if food was better we would have went more than just the one time.

Overpriced and not good. We would have been regulars, too, eagle, as the atmosphere was kind of nice, but it never crossed our minds again... especially with Michael V's just a hop, skip and a jump away...

Well, I will miss the fried chicken. Seems like every time I was there it was pretty busy - maybe high rents did them in.
