It's true. The First Family of reality TV has signed a new three-year deal with E! for "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," according to deadline.com.

The agreement includes orders for season seven though nine of the mega-hit reality series which stars Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian Odom, Rob Kardashian, and Bruce, Kris, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, reported the website Tuesday. E! will also have a first-look arrangement with the Kardashians for "unscripted ideas, concepts and projects."

The reality show is the highest rated series on E!, airing on cable 60 in Tulsa and averaged more than 3 million viewers total viewers in its most recent season, according to the entertainment news website. The seventh season of the series premieres May 20.

While the agreement doesn't include them, the main series has spawned several spinoff shows including "Kourtney and Khloé Take Miami," "Kourtney and Kim Take New York" and "Khloé & Lamar."

Next on E!'s agenda is signing a new contract with the show's executive producer Ryan Seacrest who is working on a final deal with NBCUniversal, parent company of E!, reported the website.

Rita Sherrow grew up with TV. Yes, it was the ever-present “sister” from another techno mother. At first look, it was instant "Like." From then on, the TV had to be on in every room while she studied, elementary school through college. An Air Force brat, she attended school in three states (Oklahoma, Montana and Georgia) and two foreign countries (Germany and Bermuda) and graduated from Broken Arrow High School and the University of Tulsa with a degree in journalism/advertising. She first interned in the advertising world but, when a J-School professor (who also covered politics for the Tulsa World) offered her an internship at the newspaper, she took him up on it. The rest is history. She has served as bridal editor, senior features writer for the women’s section, food editor and is television editor of the Tulsa World. In addition to writing about TV shows and interviewing the stars for “Scene” stories, she also writes a TV column for Weekend and produces the Sunday TV World listings magazine.
