Hot Cross Buns
A variety of Easter treats are available at Merritt's Bakery locations.
1. Hot Cross Buns -- spiced sweet roll with raisins, iced with a cross and traditionally eaten on Good Friday, although they are excellent for breakfast any time. $3.25
2. Easter Bunny Cakes -- vanilla cake with buttercream icing and Easter Bunny decoration. $9.50.
3. Magical Chocolate Eggs -- magical because the decorated eggs are hiding chocolate cake and whipped cream inside. $2.25
4. Greek Easter Bread -- sweet bread with raisins, coriander and sesame seeds, braided to represent the crown of thorns, with a red egg in the center symbolizing the blood of Christ. $4
5. Iced and Decorated Cookies -- cookies decorated with Easter themes.
