I've had a few calls and e-mails the last couple of days about a recipe we ran around Thanksgiving for an easy creamed corn.
Some of you never got around to making it for Thanksgiving, and others loved it so much they want to make it again for Christmas.
This is a really easy recipe that can be made in a Crock-Pot or in a saucepan. If using a saucepan, you can dramatically cut down the cooking time. But the Crock-Pot makes it easy to have simmering while your others burners are taken.
The recipe comes from Tulsa World reader and Taste of Home field editor Chris Eilerts.
EASY CREAMY CORN
Serves 8
2 (10-ounce) packages frozen corn
2 tablespoons sugar
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese
1/4 cup butter
6 tablespoons water
