He's without a doubt my favorite character on the talented cast of ABC's huge hit, Modern Family. Eric Stonestreet plays the affable Cam -- a former football player, and half of the show's best couple, Mitchell and Cam.

But the Kansas City, Kan.-born actor is proving he has quite the range -- with appearances on two other shows on the tube tonight. Plus, did you see him on ESPN's College GameDay a couple of weeks ago? He was funny on the panel, and dressed from head to toe in Kansas State gear, his alma mater.

Tonight, EW reports that he'll be presenting the first award on the Carrie Underwood-hosted Country Music Awards, then he'll do a little "Kim-pression" later in the evening, as he and a bevy of stars pay tribute to the biggest divorce of the season, thanks to Miss Kardashian. That fun starts at 7 p.m. on ABC.

Then, for those who want to see a much, much darker side of the comedian, switch to FX at 9 pm. for my new favorite show, American Horror Story.
The Hollywood Reporter interviews Stonestreet about his guest role, a mental patient named Derek, who is -- get this -- afraid of ghosts.

Ironic, considering his psychiatrist lives in the most whacked-out haunted house on TV.

What do you think of Stonestreet's scary turn -- will he be creepy enough, or should he stick to the comedy?

Here's a sneak peek of AHS from E! -- warning, it's kind of disturbing.
