Famous Dave's closed only one day due to fire

In case you went by Famous Dave's last Thursday, and it was closed due to a minor fire, the restaurant would like customers to know it reopened the next day. The fire was caused by sparks from a neon sign, according to general manager Marc Gillette.

"We want to thank the fire department for their fast action, as well as our guests, the community and our team members for their support," Gillette said in an email. "We are thankful no one was injured."

The restaurant is located at 8247 E. 71st St.

Is it just me... There's something in their BBQ sauce that smells like fresh pine wood shavings.. Not very tasty...
