A bacon cheeseburger from Fat Guy's Burger Bar. CORY YOUNG/Tulsa World
Fat Guy's Burger Bar has opened a location in south Tulsa at 7945 S. Memorial Drive.
Fat Guy's is known for its fat and juicy burgers, crispy fries, chili, hot dogs and specialty burgers.
It also offers 15 dipping sauces, such as chipotle ketchup aioli, srirachi chili ranch, roasted garlic aioli and honey mustard, to go with the fries.
Nineteen free toppings also are available to dress up the burgers.
"This store is practically a mirror image of the downtown restaurant," said manager R.C. Kline.
The original Fat Guy's opened in 2010 next to ONEOK Field.
The new store will be open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week. The phone number is 893-2232.
"We might stay open later on the weekends out here if there is a demand," Kline said.
