Mmmm, sweet, sweet vice ...
Sorry, but I just refuse to pay $5 for a cup of something I can screw up at home.
That said, I need to address my caffeine intake. Almost every morning since Youngun died, I've brewed a pot of coffee. I fill the water tank thingy up to the number 6, let it do it's thing while I'm in the shower, then put it in a to-go mug and chug it 'til 11 a.m. By then, I feel more productive.
Today, however, I was shaking 'til about lunch (which, by the way, consisted of a salad at Impressions with 007 and the gang. OK, two salads -- but it was quite healthy and easily clocked in at less than 500 calories, no doubt. Anyway ...). Blah, blah, blah, I need to cut back on the coffee. But what will my vice be now? Hmm ...
So the knee's still bothering me. Did I tell you about that? Well, in a nutshell, my knee's been bothering me. Hurts like John and William to run, but I did the training trot Saturday. First half mile was slightly torturous, but the remaining six went well. But Monday it hurt, so I didn't run; only did three of the four miles I was supposed to do on Tuesday; and I overslept today. That means five miles Thursday morning, woohoo! That's not sarcasm, actually; running makes me feel groovy. And it takes the weight off! Or so I hope it will. Those Seven for All Mankind jeans taunt me daily from the closet, and it's my goal to fit back into them by the end of September.
OK, that's all I got today. Oh! I keep forgetting to tell you about the nutritionist visit from last week. Remind me, I'll do it tomorrow.
Peace, love and Mr. Coffee ... XOXO
P.S.: I have a new blog dealio, "LET'S GET IT ON ... SALE!" Check it out for sale stuff -- and let me know if you hear of a sale so I can blah-blah-blog about it.

Living Wright
While other kids were watching "The Smurfs," Scene Writer Jason Ashley Wright was tuned in to "Style with Elsa Klensch." By fourth grade, he knew he wanted to write, and spent almost three years publishing a weekly teen-oriented magazine, Teen-Zine -- circulation: 2. After earning a degree in journalism from the University of Southern Mississippi, he became the medical reporter and teen board coordinator for the Hattiesburg (Miss.) American, a Gannett newspaper. Eight months later, with visions of Elsa dancing in his head, he applied for the fashion writer position at the Tulsa World, where he began working on Aug. 3, 1998. He is now a general assignment reporter for Scene.
