It's football time in Oklahoma. And what a fantastic day for it.
The three big college teams in Oklahoma are staying close to home today (OU has a bye week), so for you tailgaters and fans, let's look at the weather.
OSU vs. Louisiana-Lafayette, Boone Pickens Stadium, Stillwater
Kickoff for this game is…well…now, actually. You might need a light jacket or little umbrella for the same reason Snoop Dogg carries one: Fo' drizzle. But the drizzle should taper off by 1 p.m. It's currently 62 degrees there and isn't forecast to get much higher than that. Otherwise, cloudy with a light north northwest wind.
University of Tulsa vs. Nicholls State, H.A. Chapman Stadium, Tulsa
For the folks tailgating all day, again it's perfect fall weather, especially considering it's mid-September. Kickoff is at 6 p.m. with temperatures in the mid-60s. Cloudy all day with a 20 percent chance of rain today and tonight, mainly after 8 p.m. Winds light out of the south.
Seriously, folks. If football or cooking outside or lying on your couch all day with a book, staring pensively out the window, today is your lucky day.
