Football weather forecasts: OU-Baylor, OSU-West Virginia, Tulsa-Houston

Wind and rain in college football? It could be worse: Workers attempt to clear the snow from the field before the New York Red Bulls' MLS Eastern Conference semifinal playoff soccer match against DC United was postponed, Wednesday in Harrison, N.J. BILL KOSTROUN/AP Photo
Rain games this weekend? Possible, but expect lots of wind!
Here are your football weather forecasts, in chronological order as usual. All information is from the National Weather Service:
Oklahoma State hosting West Virginia, 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Stillwater
Stillwater has a 20 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms on Saturday, which grows to a 70 percent chance Saturday night.
Regardless of how early the rain arrives, it is going to be windy. South to southeast wind gusts may reach up to 44 mph, but are forecast to be at least in the teens to 20s-range.
Saturday's high in Stillwater is expected to reach the 70s with mostly cloudy skies, after 60s in the morning. By night, temperatures are expected to drop to the 50s.
OU hosting Baylor, 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Norman
Cloudy and windy skies are also expected in Norman, but the rain may hold off until Saturday night.
Norman's highs Saturday are also forecast for the 70s, and south wind gusts in the 20s range are forecast, but may also reach 40 mph.
By Saturday night, rain and thunderstorms are likely (60 percent chance), with more wind (near the 40s again) and temperatures dropping to the 50s.
Tulsa at Houston: 4 p.m. Saturday at Robertson Stadium in Houston, Texas
Houston is a huge area, so I am going to do my best to get the forecast for the area of Houston where UH's Robertson Stadium is.
Like north of the Red River, Houston also has rain chances Saturday into Saturday night. A 20 percent chance of showers is forecast for after noon.
With partly sunny skies, Houston's afternoon high is forecast for the 80s, but like Norman and Stillwater, expect some wind. Gusts up to 25 mph are forecast.
Saturday night also has a 20 percent chance of showers forecast, with lows in the 70s and mostly cloudy skies. Gusts in the 15-20 mph range are also expectd.
Have a good football weekend!

started writing for the Tulsa World in March 2007 after previous stops at the Norman Transcript in 2006 and the Oklahoma Gazette in 2005. She followed her older brother from rural Wisconsin (with a public school that never seemed to call snow days) to the University of Oklahoma, but did not follow his pursuit to study meteorology. However, she tries to find as many opportunities to report on the weather as possible.
