Rachel Crow is taking on "Mean Girls" in her new video.
The 14-year-old former "X Factor" finalist, who charmed Simon Cowell and TV viewers in 2011, tackles bullying in the video, reported hollywoodreporter.com Tuesday.
It's one more step in a career that is taking off.
She has signed a deal with Nickelodeon and Sony-owned Columbia Records, made her acting debut on Nickelodeon's "Fred: The Show" where she will play a recurring character and guest-starred as Winnie, a super fan who asked the boys to sign a baggie of their hair, on "Big Time Rush" earlier this week. Nickelodeon is also developing a comedy series for her.
The pint-sized performer, then a 13-year-old eighth grader, first wowed the "X Factor" audience when she sang Duffy's "Mercy" and then stole their hearts again when she cried over her elimination from the reality TV competition.
She is set to join Big Time Rush and Cody Simpson on tour in Ohio starting Thursday.
