Rudisill Regional Library, 1520 N. Hartford, will host free health screenings for people of all ages from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday.

The screenings -- including blood pressure, cholesterol and glucose hemoglobin A1C -- will be provided by the Tulsa Health Department. Body mass index and waist-to-hip ratio measurements will also be performed.

The event complements the Tulsa City-County Library's “One Book, One Tulsa” initiative, which explores food, gardening, health and sustainability.

Would be interesting to know how many people actually take advantage of that free health screening.
