Longtime Tulsa musician
Jim Downing lost his home to a house fire just before Christmas. As we all know, musicians generally aren't rich. Far from it.
This benefit is for the Downing family. There's also a fund set up with Arvest Bank for anyone to donate to "The Downing Family Fire Fund."
Downing plays with
The Zigs and has played with many Tulsa bands over the years: The Oscilators, Gus Hardin, Bill Davis, Bill Snow, Don White, Steve Pryor, Flying Horse, Xebec, Medicine Show, Jimmy LeFave, The Mystery Band, Wanda Watson, The Jacobs-Downing and more.
This will be a full-blown event with live music, raffles, silent auctions, $5 per-plate food and more.
