Tulsa-born Owasso resident and country music star Garth Brooks announced today that he's joining the lineup for George Jones' final concert, Nov. 22 at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.

Also on the bill are The Oak Ridge Boys, Dierks Bentley, Charlie Daniels, Jamey Johnson, Montgomery Gentry, Kenny Rogers, Randy Travis, Tanya Tucker, Kid Rock, Shelby Lynne, Sam Moore, Lorrie Morgan, Josh Turner and Gene Watson. More players will be announced soon, organizers said.

“Being joined by so many incredible singers while doing what I love will be truly heartwarming,” Jones said in a media statement.

“It’s shaping up to be more than I expected or could have ever imagined.”

Indeed. Tickets start at $22.20, plus fees, available at Ticketmaster outlets and online at tulsaworld.com/ ticketmaster.

His final tour will make approximately 44 stops this year. His hits, "I Don't Need Your Rockin' Chair," "Who's Gonna Fill Their Shoes," "White Lightning" and "He Stopped Loving Her Today" will be part of each night’s setlist, along with plenty of guests and surprises, his publicist confirmed.

Jones is the No. 2 best-charting country artist of all time. He has 143 Top 40 hit singles to his credit.
