Garth Brooks today announced that his sold-out string of shows in Las Vegas will continue through June 2012.
Tickets for the shows at the Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas, where he’s been performing since 2009, will go on sale noon Saturday. Tickets are $224, plus fees and tax, available at

New dates include March 2-3, March 30-31, April 20-31 and June 8-9. Showtimes will be 7:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
Brooks lives near Owasso with wife and country superstar in her own right, Trisha Yearwood.
Tickets for Brooks’ first stint of shows at the Wynn Las Vegas resort sold out in less than five hours.
In 2009, Brooks announced a five-year deal with casino owner Steve Wynn that includes 15 weeks of shows a year in the Encore theater, a venue that seats about 1,500.
This year, Garth was inducted into the Songwriters’ Hall of Fame by Billy Joel.
