Gary Busey is crazy ... about hobbits

Gary Busey: "Doggone hobbits -- they're so cute!" Hollywood's most famously insane actor wants you to know he's got some unique insight into the race of Middle-earth dwellers that J.R.R. Tolkien never offered readers.
A few months ago, Gary Busey posted an informational video about hobbits on his YouTube channel, The Busey Zone.
He spouts this knowledge with a lot of certainty (not unlike his other crazy rants), as though he's traveled in Middle-earth himself. But in Busey's time at Nathan Hale High and Oklahoma State University, I doubt he spent much time reading Tolkien, because his video tribute to hobbits is more surreal than it is representative of the fantasy. For example, here's a quote:
"They travel in packs of four, 'cause you never know what a hobbit's gonna do when a hobbit's here alone -- he can't do it all by himself. He's got three guys to help him. That's why they always get things done efficiently and quickly and to the T. They make a point without making it. Because that's what a hobbit does."
Last week, another video about hobbits was posted to The Busey Zone. He forgot to tell you some important things about hobbits, like how they burp and that their ancestors are moles.
"The hobbits have a special mind transformation and transportation of thoughts. They can talk to each other without speaking. It's called Flipping the Bone."
Oh, Gary. Don't you ever go changing, you old coot. Even though you're trying to infect the world with your special brand of crazy by way of The Busey Zone, I do love being able to laugh at a man who's completely earnest about being a whacko.
