So have you read my Tuesday column yet? (Yeah, I know this is posted Monday, but I didn't want to forget this. Anyway ...)
If you haven't read it, here's the gist: I see dead people, and not outta desire.
I related the second of only two self-confirmed sightings I've experienced, the first being in August 2003 while staying alone in a New Orleans B&B. I saw it over my shoulder in the bathroom one morning -- a dark figure in a long skirt (I'm assuming a woman, but ya never know in New Orleans) looking out the French doors to the balcony. I turned around, saw her, turned back to the mirror in disbelief, still saw her -- then turned back around, saw her again. And this is about the point when I started to panic. I said hello, I think, looked back at the mirror one more time and she'd vanished. Freaky-deaky, huh?
Thinking I was about to be attacked by something in a long skirt, I inspected the room (scary shower, included) three times. The door was bolted and locked, but I went downstairs nonetheless and asked the concierge if the staff had entered my room. "Oh, no," he maintained. "It was probably just a ghost."
Oh, really? Like it's a service or somethin' they offer. "Why, yes, we have continental breakfast, ice machines AND apparitions." Neglected to see that on the brochure.
OK, I've showed you mine, show me yours! Ghost stories, that is, keep 'em clean.
Peace, love and things that go bump in the night ... xoxo

Ok me and April went to Eureka Springs to have a "commintment ceremony" While we were there we went to the Crecent Hotel, we heard stories about it but we wanted to see for ourself if it was haunted. We did not see anything while we were there but we were taking pictures, we got done and went back to the cabin, April looked at the pictures that we took and next thing that I know the camera is flying towards me, I looked at what looked like dust at first but you look closer and you see a baby face orb, Needless to say we went back for more fun. I sugest to visit it if you ever go to eureka. Also check out Ghost Hunters on Sci Fi

Ok... my very best friend from high school grew up in a haunted house. No lie! We called them "the people in the attic" because inside of her closet was the door to the crawl space in the attic. Every night (just about) you would hear voice, footsteps and occaisional knocking. One night, she and I were there alone hanging out. She was upstairs in her room taking a shower while I got us something to eat before we watched movies. As I'm standing in the kitchen (her room directly above me), I saw a figure walk by in the reflection of the window as if they were behind me. I said "hey, do you want mayo or mustard?" They said nothing but I could hear the footsteps exiting the room and heading back upstairs. Naturally, I followed, thinking she just didn't hear me. I'm calling her name around every corner and it just seems like every time I turn, so do the footsteps. Finally as I approach her room, I can hear her talking, as if she had been talking to someone and was in the middle of a story. I said "who are you talking to?" She just about jumped out of her skin! She said "OMG... I was talking to YOU, didn't you just come up here? I saw you pass by in the reflection in the mirror!" I said "NO, you were just downstairs because I saw someone in the window!" We realized at that point that our visions happened simultaniously... Pretty creepy and awesome!!! I love it!

Living Wright
While other kids were watching "The Smurfs," Scene Writer Jason Ashley Wright was tuned in to "Style with Elsa Klensch." By fourth grade, he knew he wanted to write, and spent almost three years publishing a weekly teen-oriented magazine, Teen-Zine -- circulation: 2. After earning a degree in journalism from the University of Southern Mississippi, he became the medical reporter and teen board coordinator for the Hattiesburg (Miss.) American, a Gannett newspaper. Eight months later, with visions of Elsa dancing in his head, he applied for the fashion writer position at the Tulsa World, where he began working on Aug. 3, 1998. He is now a general assignment reporter for Scene.
